Tuono Temptations

It's an 05 Factory, low mileage, owned be an older guy. Garage kept, minty.

What's it worth?

What would YOU give?

My left nut.

I can't give a more specific answer than that, but I do love the Tuono's. I would suggest going to an Aprilia forum and asking. I bet those guys would be happy to help and would have a better answer. Here's one I go to frequently to drool.

Not sure what it's worth but I think you should buy it because there's the off chance that I'd have the opportunity to ride it some day.

Got anymore info ? Pics, mods etc . ?

Just keep in mind - there is a dealer in New Jersey selling new 2008/2009's factories, not the Factory R's for $7500 -

Either way, get a Tuono - Best bike out there !

Good luck, you can't go wrong with Aprilia.

They are known as the Italian Honda.

I'm looking at an 01 RSV-R right now...

I loved mine. In fact my wife was asking today why the hell did you sell it. Great bike I commuted, track days, & did some light touring on mine. It preformed very well. I have ridden the Factory and other than the suspension which is very good not much difference. The carbon fiber looks nice and wheels help with directional change.

The owner is an Optomitrist, and a friend of a friend. We tried twice to look at it, to no avail.

My friend had an 04 Tuono, the standard model. It felt a bit different to me, but Geez, what an engine! I liked the bike, but his example was a bit rough, had a sheepskin seat and a big ol winshield on it. It wasn't pretty. The owner was 60 at the time, and form followed function. The guages were worthless. They were way down low and were hard to read. Did Aprillia do an upgrade in 05? Are the guages still worthless?

Im thinking they did the major over haul in 2006 , but, there is always a chance that a couple of 2005.5's are out there - If you like that motor, you shouldnt ride the 06+ unless your willing to buy on right then !

Did some looking and according to KBB , retail for a 2005 Factory R is 10320 - -
BTW, is this the for sure real factory ? Seems like they did a model that was trak only in that time frame, no lights or anything, if thats what this is, yo uneed to get it. those are killer ! There was a guy at a trakday I did @ VIR that was turning 1:32 around the north course - thats smoking !
