Timewarp - RC51.net Oldtimer

Gulp - you know how you return to a place where you did some growing up and things are really familiar but you can also tell that deep down, everything has changed? I'm getting that feeling right now.

I joined www.rc51.net about 10 days after the site got going. I think I was the very first member in Europe or the US to take delivery of my SP1. I remember how we transitioned to www.motorush.com

Loads of things in life have happened and i wasn't very regular on the forums. And I just tried coming back to have a look see and it's all gone. I see www.rc51.org is still there but it looks like it's got tumbleweed blowing through. Any old RC51er's knocking around?

Somewhere behind all this I have a question about PowerCommanders and reliability of ignition circuits, but I'd prefer to say "Hi" to the old gang first. It feels like something has died. Oh well, here's to the Phoenix effect
;-)

Cheers, TrickyDicky

Trick! It's been a loooong time.

Some of us RC-Fatty1's are still here. It's mostly 919 riders asking why their bike stinks and their brakes are too loud, though.

Good to see another old familiar name on here.

Welcome Back Tricky.

I've still got my 01 and the fat old girl's still got legs. Plenty of the folks that sold theirs are wishing they had them back.

If you poke around in here I think you'll find they even have a "dash cover" thread.

R.I.P x2

RC51.net begat Motorush, Motorush begat WristTwisters.

Actually Jet created WT to fill the void of MR. WT is a MUCH cleaner and safer version ( No nuns). All in all it's a better site, you still have the occasional antagonists but still better.

Motorush was quite large, tons of members... one day we all tried to log in and it was gone. No warning or explanation.

There is a website somewhere that took a snapshot of Motorush before it dropped if you want to see how insane we all really are in an unruled domain.

Many rc51.org members are still dropping in on Speedzilla.com

Welcome back Tricky!

I joined a little late in the game around mid-2001 so I missed RC51.net. It was cool to find this site with a bunch of the same freaks who used to make Motorush a good time.
