So BGrissom and I have been friends for over ten years now since high school. He actually learned to ride on my 06 speed triple. He since bought a 2001 SV650S. I rode it home for him when he bought it since he was just learning to ride. Since then, he had put new springs in the front end and swapped the stock shock for one off a Kawi 636 or something. So, I had the idea of swapping bikes for a couple of days. A full review to come shortly. The bike had come with an ART exhaust slip-on which really doesn't sound much better than stock and still weighs a ton. So, first night I have the bike, I took out the Trident Carbon Fibre pipe I had taken off the speed triple and went to work. I had an accident on the Triple which caused some denting and delamination on my carbon exhaust. Since I had replaced it, it was just taking up room in the garage. The inlet to the Trident exhaust was much smaller diameter than the outlet of his midpipe so I sawed it off... 6" back. Then cut down the carbon bit to match. I took much of the packing out and fitted the whole thing to his bike. Sounds soooo much better and looks pretty decent to me!

Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all. "
