I want it! KTM SMT

I think I may have found my next bike if it comes to the US. KTM SMT. I love the SuperDuke, really want a motard, and want something I can actually do some highway miles on. This bike really seems like it's the one. I'm actually between this or the BMW F800GS. The Beemer just isn't quite as sporty as I'd like. Tell me what you guys think about this sweet little ride!

I like it a lot. I also love the F800GS and will have one someday when they hit the used market. I've been watching for KTM enduro to fill my dual sport itch, but I do love the Dukes as well.

This bike just seems like it's everything. It seems like it would sell in the US. I mean, I know they'd sell at least one if they brought it over.

My local Harley/ BMW dealer (not sure how they decided on those two) is trying to move some at slight discounts. I was blown away by how good they felt. I think my biggest holdup is the tiny tires. They look like bicycle tires. I'm sure it would take a single test ride to get hooked on one, but for right now it seems a lot less sporty.

It is a cool bike... which means it will probably never make it to the states.

The Dorso is one of the top bikes on my list. I absolutely love it, and one day would love for it to sit next to my KTM. What, can I not dream anymore?

Truly a beautiful bike and if I had a better Aprilia dealer in the area I would heavily consider that bike. Seems like from the Aprilia forum I visit the advice is they're great bikes if they have a great dealer nearby to do the setup and any maintenance that may be necessary.

Haha, you might be on to something. All we've got here is Harley and the Japanese bikes. Oh, and a good KTM shop...

... except sex appeal. The Dorso is a piece of art. But I'm really getting the itch to get a KTM.
