i recently bought a damaged Brembo MC 19x18 clutch for $30.
if i can get the stripped banjo threads fixed, i'll have brembo 19X18 MCs on the clutch and brake side

almost that time of year again.
ahh.. i have suspension plans, atleast a rear shock. Ohlins, WP or Matris most likely.
We'll see what i end up with tho, the deal i get is gonna dictate everything.
LDH got a PC-V to work on his 04 1000RR, i might try that too.

im also entertaining the idea of running a PC-V with autotune on my 04. Sine LDH has figured out a pretty easy way to make it work on the old bike.
Have I mentioned just how pleased I actually am with how the Autotune works? It's so good that it really pisses me off when I think back at how many hours.days.weeks I have literally spent on the dyno re-tuning the Powercommanders for different installed parts trying to get the most out of them. If something like this Autotune had existed 10 years ago the dyno tuning business would pretty much be obsolete by now.

More info please! I did a search for Autotune and couldn't find anything.
I'm pretty happy with the way my '07 919 runs with PCIII, Yoshi slip-ons, and K&N filter, but I know it's not perfect. I'm not yet skilled with the PCIII software, and would rather not have to pay the $$$$$ for multiple dyno runs to get it tuned perfectly.
I'm not looking for more power, the bike is what it is and I like it, I just want to make the available power as smooth and clean as possible.
What to you plug in as your target a/f ratio and how long does it take to reach the target?
13.8 at idle conditions
13.2 at low to midrange then into 13.1 into 13.0 at everything greater than 80% throttle.
Various values in the 0% column to alter the transmission load between shifts
Latency is built into the algorithm so trimming is pretty damn accurate. You just have to have a modicum of tuning knowledge to insure the values are correct before you accept them & write them to the current map as certain conditions can manifest problems if you don't know what you are looking for. It's really no different than knowing the rules for Dyno Tuning, but now that this type of tool has been placed in the hands of common owners rather than trained professionals it isn't hard to conceive that somebody will allow some fueling adjustments that can harm the motor at some point...

might have to do a PC-V + HO604 package deal
