While the harley might have had more finesse, he also scrapped his guards at almost every turn. This vid to me is more impressive and these skills would translate more useful in the the streets than the other. But also because I don't see myself on a Harley, ever.
His speed is much greater throughout the course compared to the Harley.

nice video, but didn't blow me out of the water. The Cop was scraping his guards because it has much less cornering clearance, plus he was going slower and turning that hog in a space not much larger than the bike and navigating hallways barely wider than the handlebars. This looks like a typical motorcycle gymkhana video.
They're both badass, but lets see either catch this guy
I think Flycatcher caught the essence of it. The harley cop was doing full-lock turns in the bare minimum space possible. his hard parts were scraping because of the limitations built into his machine, not because of a lack of ability in the rider. It was slower speed, but that was more a function of the course since it had much tighter spaces than the course the 600RR was on. I would like to see the 600RR on the same course that the harley cop was running on. I suspect that the harley's low speed handling is perhaps even better than the 600RR.

+1 on FlyCatcher's response. Both display amazing talent, but the cop was hamstrung ( ) by riding a lead pig of a bike; while the latter rode a bike who's agility matched his own. The synergy of the two (superior rider on a superior bike) is matchless.
Yes, it's true that it's the rider that performs, not the bike, but the pinnacle of excellence is achieved when you combine the best talent with the best equipment. (Just as Jim Cirrillo with a S&W Model 10 38 Special was far more more deadly than Barney Fife with a .357 magnum; but, look what happened when you combined the most powerful handgun with the most deadly officer...
Bigdaa, you understand.....
