My new beater... I mean Track Bike!

Yeah, my 919 is alot of fun, but 1) it's alot of work on the track, and 2) I'm always worried about damaging it, so I don't go all out on the track.

So I thought it best to get a bike 1) that's flickable and a perfect size to work on my lines and passing through the turns, and 2) that I can push myself without concern for damaging it if I crash.

And for $550.00, I really can't go wrong. Well, that's assuming it doesn't start losing parts as I go round and round through the track that is...

Now, this is what someone else had done to his Fizzer 400

Makes me go... Hmmmm...

But alas, I must resist, as that would defeat the purpose of why I bought this beater in the first place!

Thanks dudes! I dropped her off at the shop to get the carbs worked on, and fork seals replaced. But my mechanic says the forks are pitted enough that new seals will not do much good. Good thing these use the FZR600 forks, so I should be able to pick up a pair on ebay.
I also found out that if i switch out the triple trees for a FZR400RR, I could direct swap '99-'01 R6 forks to replace the stock ones. Hmmm...

Congrats. That is a very ugly bike. Hopefully it will work to scare the other bikes out of the way.

Gotta go with Jim on this, she's ugly. But for $550 you can't go wrong. I say paint it all flat primer black with flames and have some chains dragging off the swingarm to throw some sparks as you burn around the track. Maybe put a goat skull on the front. That'll scare people out of the way.
