Umm, not quite sure what we're looking at there? Comparing the complexity of wiring between generations?

its the sheer amount of wiring.... and i completely agree.

Its like the difference between my now sold 1979 AMC CJ5 with its Inline 6 4.2L.... and my 2001 chevy 2500hd w/ its 6.0L v8.

Cj5 - one coil, one small ignition unit, very VERY little in the way of wiring in the engine bay

2500hd - set of wires for every one of the 8 injectors, individual harnesses and coil packs for EACH cylinder, all the various sensors etc etc.

Although the Cj5 had MANY more vacuum lines.

I kinda miss my CJ5.... tho the selling of it allowed me to buy my 919, so i cant complain.
