the S1000R, is an AMAZING machine... the local moto tuning shop a buddy o mine works at had one in there being fully built up... 30k put into the bike at the shop... it was the first bike the owner had to strap down on the dyno cus its so light and is makin so much power!

HAHA... u kno whats funny i just left mammoth mtn here this morning.... the place with the worlds MOST SNOW... got home 6 hrs later to beautiful 70*F weather and sunny !

the s1000r make me feel like riding a suzuki...
nothing psecial..yes its fast, its easy good for racing..
i still crave for the hp2 if i want to buy a beemer..

Seriously....your pics made my day. That 1000RR looks tough in black.
So......are your KTM days over? With the new performance upgrades, the 2011 KTM RC8 R looks like it might be up there competition wise....though it might be hard to match the weights of the 1000RR & RSV4.

Nice pics Peter!! I just did a 2-day Trackday at Barber Motorsports Park last month, and I must say it's gotta be the most beautiful track in this Country. But I gotta check out Sepang!!
Anyway, remember a while back I said I was planning to visit some time soon? Well, it didn't happen... yet. My wife did just go back to Thailand earlier this week, and will be there for the next 2 months! This was when I was supposed to go, but this economy is keeping our expendible income at bay. Hopefully by this time next year, we'll both be able to take a month off and go together, and I do plan to stop by and say
