I got my inspection done a few minutes ago. After I returned from my previously blogged journey a buddy came over to see me, and pointed out that my inspection was due 2 months ago. Whoops!

I finally got a decent amount of seat time in today. I hopped on the super-slab toward Comfort, TX to get the hell out of town and to the good riding as quickly as possible. I tend to stay on the major roads when I'm flying solo, so it wasn't the biggest adventure ever. I exited and headed into Fredericksburg, which is a big tourist destination. Beautiful country, decent shopping I assume, and plenty of food. For a town of 9k, it's a happening place with B&B's everywhere. A little ways...

My 2nd year participating in my companies Toys for Tots campeign. Last year it was a mid-day excersize in trying to find your way around one of the local bases, while not losing all your coworkers, to get into a lot with no obvious direct entrance. We ended up parking in the dirt close to the drop location and hoofing it the short distance last year. This year, I've got some extra sidestand pucks (soft dirt..) and the same payload as last year... enough hot-wheels to make a few hundred little...

So tonight I feel like I've been snubbed by a woman that said she was interested in me. I saw her logged into chat and tried to hit her up for a conversation. She stayed logged in for ~15m, then was gone without a word. I'm probably telling myself stories, but why would a woman pretend to be interested to the point of giving you her IM username but then blow you off completely the first time you try to contact her that way?
