bleh, yay!

So I spent waaaaay to much time today making my own fender eliminator. I wouldn't be complaining, if it came out as well as I had hoped. I guess using a jigsaw wasn't the best idea, but since I don't have a bandsaw I didn't have much of a choice. What annoyed me most is the bends I made so that I could mount the blinkers. I swear I used proper technique to do it, but one was closer to the exhaust (z axis) and higher (y axis) than the other...so I had to wrench on it to make it look right. Still purdier than the stock shovel, but far from pretty. I ground off the burrs with a dremel on the wrong side (dumbass) so now there are tool marks around the holes. Alas, whats on there now is 100x less likely to fail than the ABS abortion that was there before. Plans for tomorrow (assuming I get sleep at the office tonight) are to ride up to Austin and hit up the motivation guys for some sliders, maybe some photos. I only managed to eek in an hour of sleep "tonight" so I couldn't give'r a test ride to the office. Wish me luck in that crazy crazy town!

I got about 12hrs today, was kinda nice! Didn't make it to Austin (obviously) and now the weather is going to suck today. No big deal, next week will work better for meeting up with my friend so I'll be aiming for that...sometime heh
